Tell Gov. Scott to fix our algae problem

Years of giving Big Sugar close to free reign to pollute south Florida’s waterways has been disastrous and dangerous for Florida’s wildlife and tourism economy. Currently, Florida is in a state of emergency in four counties due to toxic algae blooms.

While there is no easy solution, there are critical steps that would alleviate the pollution. Yet in the past, Gov. Scott has refused to adopt them. Florida cannot afford band-aids and crisis mitigation. We need a real solution. Tell Gov. Scott to take serious steps to fix our toxic algae problem now.
