Thank you for defending Florida's consumers against the recent attack on state control over rooftop solar policy. It's important to see entities like you stand up to special interest groups when vital state policies are threatened, especially when those policies help people get fairly compensated for the energy they contribute to the grid.

People and businesses across the state rely on common sense solar policies to take control of their own energy, and choose how they power their lives. Solar panels and batteries contribute to the resilience of the electric grid. As we enter hurricane season, Floridians need more tools -- not fewer -- in order to weather all the storms that are coming our way.

Thank you again for speaking up against the New England Ratepayers Association's attack on these critically important state rights. Please continue to defend solar workers, business owners and homeowners from additional uncertainty by preserving state jurisdiction over net metering here in Florida.
