Green Kids: Dive into the Florida Keys

In the lead-up to World Oceans Day, we learned about the history and value of the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary. Now, we encourage you and your kids to explore the 3,800 square miles of coastal and ocean waters protected by the area.

Dr. Mark Q. Martindale is the Director of the University of Florida's Whitney Laboratory for Marine Biosciences. He'll be leading us on a virtual tour through the Sanctuary. This journey will consist of colorful coral reefs, diverse marine life, and numerous elements of human life that encompass a broad historical period.

We are inviting kids to draw their favorite ocean animals and share it in an after-tour show and tell. All you need for this webinar is curiosity, creativity, and crayons.

Make sure to register below. This event will not be recorded or streamed live, so we encourage full participation from families.

We look forward to seeing you there!
